West Techs Chill Water Specialist is a commercial and industrial HVAC company specializing in chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air conditioning service, industrial coating, and rental chiller solutions.

Pay

(Based on skills, experience, and performance)
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
- Rotating on‑call schedule for 24/7 emergency service
- Occasional nights and weekends as required
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on:
- Air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers
- Cooling towers
- Pumps and boilers
- Air handling units
- Split and packaged systems
- Accurately diagnose equipment issues and determine repair vs. replacement recommendations
- Obtain replacement parts lists and manufacturer recommendations
- Clearly communicate findings and solutions to customers and internal team members
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for emergency service
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in a professional and organized manner
- Complete all required service documentation using company software, including:
- Time logs
- Work performed and resolution codes
- Equipment details
- Customer signatures
- Maintain timely communication with the Service Manager and Service Coordinator
- Use iPad/computer systems for service reporting and documentation

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of chiller service experience with verifiable industry references
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Proven experience making sound repair vs. replacement decisions
- High level of professionalism and customer service skills
- Willingness to take responsibility and step into leadership when needed
- Universal EPA Certification required
- Willingness to travel as required
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong documentation and communication skills are required
