West Techs Chill Water Specialist is a commercial and industrial HVAC company specializing in chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air conditioning service, industrial coating, and rental chiller solutions.

Pay

💰 $30.00 – $48.00 per hour
(Based on skills, experience, and performance)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
• Rotating on‑call schedule for 24/7 emergency service
• Occasional nights and weekends as required

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on:
  • Air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers
  • Cooling towers
  • Pumps and boilers
  • Air handling units
  • Split and packaged systems
• Accurately diagnose equipment issues and determine repair vs. replacement recommendations
• Obtain replacement parts lists and manufacturer recommendations
• Clearly communicate findings and solutions to customers and internal team members
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for emergency service
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in a professional and organized manner
• Complete all required service documentation using company software, including:
  • Time logs
  • Work performed and resolution codes
  • Equipment details
  • Customer signatures
• Maintain timely communication with the Service Manager and Service Coordinator
• Use iPad/computer systems for service reporting and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of chiller service experience with verifiable industry references
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Proven experience making sound repair vs. replacement decisions
• High level of professionalism and customer service skills
• Willingness to take responsibility and step into leadership when needed
• Universal EPA Certification required
• Willingness to travel as required
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong documentation and communication skills are required
