Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
- Occasional nights and weekends as required
Position Overview
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for planning, installing, and servicing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. This role supports HVAC, mechanical, and building systems by installing control wiring, power distribution, and electrical equipment in accordance with applicable codes and company standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan layouts and install electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities
- Install and service control wiring and electrical equipment supporting HVAC and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Bend and install conduit in a clean, professional, and code‑compliant manner
- Perform electrical load calculations and equipment replacements
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and controls efficiently and safely
- Minimize material waste while ensuring accessibility for future maintenance
- Maintain wiring practices that are safe, reliable, and visually professional
- Operate lifts and material‑handling equipment safely, including:
- Scissor lifts
- Boom lifts
- Forklifts
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company well on job sites
- Follow all safety policies, electrical codes, and jobsite requirements

Electrical / Project Supervisor (as assigned)
Required Qualifications
- Active TDLR Journeyman Electrician License
- Minimum 4 years of electrical experience
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safe installation practices
- Advanced customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to take responsibility and demonstrate ownership of work
- Desire to continue developing skills and grow within the trade
