Rental Technician Positions now available. Job Title: Rental Technician

Pay Scale: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on skills, experience, performance and ongoing training attendance.

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, with 1 hour lunch; alternating on call schedule to cover 24/7 emergency service; some weekends and evenings

Primary Job Function: To ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of temporary chiller systems, cooling towers, air-handling units, and assorted HVAC equipment. This includes the installation, startup, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and demobilization of rental chillers and associated equipment.

Reports to: Rental Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Follows safety policies and participates in ongoing safety training.
• Performs planned maintenance of rental equipment per OEM specifications. (Including log inspections on equipment)
• Performs electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical repairs on equipment to ensure reliable operation
• Performs cleaning, painting, storage, and labeling of equipment for optimum appearance and identification.
• Manage safe and reliable installation and startup of equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Required Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience making repair and replace decisions.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
• Read and understand basic electrical schematic diagrams.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required (24/7 On Call, unless authorized Time Off Request pre-approved by manager.)
